The prototype uses layered cork granules, latex, and coconut-fiber mesh to create a buoyant, biodegradable planting unit. Its fabrication sequence is calibrated around material thickness, curing, drainage, and root growth.

Deployed along the water's edge, repeated units connect floating vegetation with shoreline habitat. The project treats a small object as the beginning of a larger ecological succession rather than as a permanent finished form.
